LABORATORY
The first thing we do in the morning is to ensure the lab is very clean and well ventilated by conducting decontamination of the workspace, cleaning and examining the machines to ensure accuracy and opening the windows, and we as staff in our well cleaned uniforms ready to receive patients.
As the patients arrive, we collect and label samples correctly and begin analysis immediately without delaying the patients. We then dispatch the results to the clinicians for treatment and drug prescription. We are currently handling an average of 1,000 clients per month.
We are proud of our laboratory due to its uniqueness from other labs because there’s no delay of the results, we ensure confidentiality and no stigma to patients. We also offer Biochemistry, Full Haemogram and we do HBAIC which is not available in most laboratories.
Our future plan is to be able to carry out blood transfusion and have a blood bank.
