MATERNITY
It is all about child birth, also known as labor or delivery. It is the ending of pregnancy where the baby is born. We deliver care to pregnant women before, during and after child birth and also facilitate in the care for the newborns.
Activities
Maternity consists of 3 phases in care of the clients
- Antinatal where we admit sick pregnant mothers and those who have been confirmed to be in labor.
- Delivery room where delivery of the baby takes place here.
- Post-Natal where we admit clients and their new-borns after child birth for further observation and treatment
Future projects
Spacious postnatal ward and theatre to be able to attend to emergencies that require operations.
